Step 1 — Database connection

Credentials are tested before anything is installed.

This request host: www.space.apministryforjesus.org
For a subdomain campus (e.g. east.yourdomain.com), open the installer on that subdomain, use the same database as main, and check “Additional location”.

Installer writes config/systems.php mapping www.space.apministryforjesus.org → the new system_id so connect.php can separate main vs sub.

Primary install writes config/installed.lock. Subdomain installs share the same files and map hosts in config/systems.php.
